Our stay with Manon was simply amazing. This was our first time wwoofing, so we were a little bit unsure what we're getting ourselves into - but we left with an experience that we never want to forget! Manon is incredibly kind and took great care of us - she was patient when explainig our farm chores, she cooked incredible meals and made sure we also got to explore the (beautiful!) area around the farm. We started our days early and worked in the garden or in the field - a loooot of watering, also weeding, preparing new flowerbeds, planting trees and so much more - until lunch, which was always really delicious. Afternoons we were usually free to walk around, relax or talk with the other wwoofer there, who quickly became our friend. Then we met up again for a together dinner. We're really thankful for the time we got to spend here, hopefully, we'll be back one day :)

I had a great stay at Hembacka! Leena and Risto were so generous and open. I enjoyed working in the garden, haying, cooking, walking with Einari the faithful dog, and most of all, the time with the bees! Leena and Risto were patient hosts who both did lots of teaching and imparting of knowledge, while also allowing me to try things out myself and share knowledge and skills that I had coming in. Accommodations were very comfortable. Hembacka is a beautiful property and home, and I used my free time borrowing a bike and exploring the local area, enjoying the sauna, and relaxing in the home. Friends and family came around often which was really nice for me as a solo WWOOFer looking to chat with others. I would definitely recommend WWOOFing with Leena and Risto!

That was one of the most informative and inspiring visits anyone could hope to experience. It provided valuable insight into the challenges and benefits of organic agriculture, as well as effective approaches to marketing. It was especially interesting to see that Lejla also has a shop where all of these wonderful products are available, demonstrating how sustainable farming and local business can go hand in hand In addition, learning about livestock and animal care made the visit even more enriching. The knowledge, passion she had for them taking each night with them before locking them goid night and practical experience shared throughout the visit made it both educational and enjoyable. Thank you for such a well-organized and memorable experience Thank you for taking such good care of me once i reached the airport till I left, introducing me to the local loving community , and showing me around beautiful Bosnia culture. Your kindness and hospitality made this visit truly special. I will always remember this wonderful experience

This was the most eye-opening and incredible journey I’ve ever taken in my life. Tilika and Dave have a beautiful farm and are very easy to work with. They make you feel like family and I was so nervous to do a trip like this, as it was my first time out of the country. I will take my knowledge and the friendships created at this farm for the rest of my life. If you’re looking for a sign, this is it.

We spent two beautiful weeks in Paprudele. Valentas and his family are excellent hosts; they welcomed us warmly, and we shared some wonderful moments together. If you are a creative person who likes to experiment, create, and work with good music, you are in the right place! There is a lot of freedom in managing your day and your tasks. We absolutely loved tasting all the amazing Lithuanian recipes and cooking together every now and then; the "pizza evenings" with pizzas cooked in the wood-fired oven were also fantastic! We are so happy with the time we spent in this enchanting place: swimming in the lake, taking a walk in the surrounding countryside, or relaxing on the tree net was exactly what we needed with the arrival of summer! We hope to be able to come back soon, and in the meantime, we highly recommend it to all new WWOOFers!

The two months I stayed at Sydra Holt went by so quickly. Everybody in this family was really welcoming and through my stay there I met a lot of other volunteers. I really enjoyed working with everybody and I learned a lot about farming, growing your own vegetables and how to start a project. I stayed in May and June so we prepared some beds and fields, planted a lot of vegetables like salad and kale. I sowed some beetroot and cabbage and made a lot of nettle juice to water the plants. We started working in the morning at 10 a.m. and had some lunch around one o' clock. The food was always really delicious and mostly from the farm. Every Friday we had Pizza Party all together. And we had some fun game nights and campfires. I had two days off each week and a lot of time to explore the area, go horse riding (several times), go to the hot tubs in Dalvik and Hjalteyri (we saw some whales there) or just bike around and explore the mountains and waterfalls of North Iceland. I am already looking forward to visiting again at another time of the year and seeing all the projects coming to life. I would definitly recommend this special place and staying with this lovely family!

Santiago and Saku provided such a wonderful & accommodating experience! They are both very knowledgeable about various gardening & landscaping techniques to help produce better plants, fruits, and vegetables which was fun to learn more about! We all chipped in with helping with meals & cleaning every day which I also enjoyed very much. I definitely recommend staying with them if you’re looking for good company, great teachings, and kind energy :)

We loved our stay at Frohburg! The days are structured and Susann and Gert are welcoming from the get go. We took care of the animals in the early morning and afternoon, and during the morning we would complete various tasks like collecting hay and cleaning. On our days off we could visit the beautiful surroundings. We wil miss the amazing meals and all of the animals.

Ranč Okorn was my second ever Wwoofing experience and one I couldn't be happier with. This family is so kind and caring, Klara and Jaka are very friendly and fun people and the entire family will make you feel at home instantly. Work was what you would expect - feeding and caring for animals, mucking out, managing the horses and carrying out various tasks across the farm. Sometimes I helped Jaka with gardenwork in the surrounding area. And while there is always something to do I always had time to spend time with the animals, sometimes ride or enjoy my free days somewhere in the wonderful country that is Slovenia. You will enjoy your time on the ranch if you love animals, are open to new experiences and people and if you're okay with the fact that real farm life sometimes gets chaotic. Thank you for two amazing months, I'm glad I was able to give you something back for this experience that is genuinely invaluable to me.

I had a splendidddd time wwoofing here! Francesca and Nemanja are extremely open minded, welcoming, interesting people who clearly put so much care and thought into how they run the homestead as well as interact with wwoofers. All of the animals (cows, goats, horses, chickens, bunnies, dogs, cats) are so lovely and and well taken care of, and the work very fair and engaging (feeding, cleaning, grooming, riding, petting). Francesca and Nemanja made me feel very welcome to join in on all their family outings and even introduced me to more people my age from the village and encouraged me to explore the area a bit more:) The living is extremely comfortable, and Francesca is an awesome cook, and basically everything we ate was completely home grown, organic, etc. Highly recommend if you are interested in working with animals, or learning about homesteading in general.

Our stay here was very fun and interesting. We not only gained the experience of working on a farm but also got to learn more about the local towns history. Eugenijus made the stay very enjoyable , comfortable and most importantly safe. There was a lot of work to be done but we were always taking breaks with Gilda, the farm dog. Working on this farm had made us realise how peaceful such places can be and how much you can connect with other people. We believe this farm to be very beginner woofer friendly and will be surely coming back again.
