Viva la soverania 🤠🥳
Mexico
My name is Juan Carlos I live in Rancho AMar La Baja sur Mexico, it’s a space in the middle of the desert we’re creating a place of healing, sustainability. The map shows La Paz because is the closest point of reference. I’m actually 38km north from La Paz and 18km to the nearest nearby town (Reforma Agraria) then 17km in dirt road into the pacific. Were on I-overlander as The Rabbit Hole if you wanna check out.
Uncles and family live a few kilometers away other than that our nearest neighbor is about 20kilometers.2 cats 3 dogs 20 chickens 3 goats a regenerative garden
The fundamental practice is to regenerate the soil by creating organic matter. Creating diversity of microorganisms to break down mater for better plant availability. Identifying is important so you can select and intentionally grow. Afert selecting you give preference and use surrounding plants as fertilizers for the one selected. Close observation, the time in the season of diferent bugs insects possible plegs is a constant
Most food comes from here and some from local markets in the city of La Paz. Arrangements can be made to accompany to make this trips for basic needs the visitors should have. Theres a few cabins that I can host visitors to stay in. Include a bed clean sheets pillows. The average day here starts with the wake-up call from the roosters..fire up the fogón to get a tee or coffee, dedicate about an hour of exercise (trampoline, walk, run to the beach, yoga). By then the furry friends are hungry also our other farm animals maybe get some watering done for some plants by then is about time to start seeing about food for the humans. Depends what’s available in the garden but usually we’ve been blessed in a consistent number of egg production so a breakfast based on egg and seasonal vegies, sometimes baked goods and some beans is a typical breakfast. After there’salways something need of attending, maintaining, constricting, planting, de weeding, to entertain our self’s with. At 2:00 we have the tradition of stoping and having a Kombucha break. Chill for 1/2 hour enjoy a cold brew and continue our whatever we were up to. Around 5 we start to return tools to their designated area, finish up or organize to be continued. By this time feeding the animals seeing about dinner. Stews are a common dinner, chiken stew, beef, ceviche sometimes we like our salads. After dinner is free time for whatever, connecting with friend’s, family, whatch something online, make a bonfire play an instrument.
Visitors should expect to cooperate with the duties around the place for 6- hours a day for 5 days.
Theres a functioning diesel welding machine that permits to play, fix, create. Potery is another passion, we have a local clay bank and when time permits. Fishing, baking, hiking, are some of the past times if visitors are willing.
