Morocco
My name is Hammou and I grew up in Tagounite. Since I was a child, I have lived on a farm surrounded by animals and crops. Growing up in this environment taught me hard work, responsibility, and respect for nature.
I still live in Tagounite with my family and our farm animals. The essence of my project is to develop a sustainable farming activity based on the experience and knowledge I have gained since childhood.
Our usual agricultural activities include growing onions, palm trees, and carrots, as well as taking care of our animals such as dogs, a donkey, and camels. Daily work on the farm includes watering the crops, preparing the soil, planting, harvesting, and feeding and caring for the animals.
I would like to teach WWOOFers how to work with the land in a simple and traditional way, how to take care of farm animals, and how to respect nature.
A typical day starts early in the morning with watering the crops and feeding the animals. After a short break, we continue with planting, cleaning the farm, or harvesting depending on the season. In the afternoon, we take care of the animals again and prepare for the next day.
We will provide comfortable and simple accommodation for WWOOFers at our farm, allowing them to experience life in a traditional Moroccan home.
For meals, we start the day with a Moroccan breakfast, usually including fresh bread, olive oil, honey, and mint tea. Lunch is a hearty Moroccan meal, often with tagine or couscous, vegetables from our farm, and fresh salads. Dinner is a traditional Moroccan dish, shared together in a warm and friendly atmosphere, giving WWOOFers a true taste of local cuisine.
In our free time, we enjoy making music. We play the drum and guitar, and we love sharing this with others. We also enjoy playing football with anyone who wants to join.
For those who are interested, we can organize a multi-night desert excursion, where I act as a guide. It is a unique experience that you will never forget.
Nearby, there are opportunities for hiking and exploring the beautiful desert landscape. Living on the farm also allows WWOOFers to enjoy a peaceful environment, participate in music and traditional activities, and experience Moroccan culture up close.

Chokran sahbi !
À bientôt j’espère :)

What an amazing week. I wish I could have stayed longer. Hammou made me feel right at home and took care of me. I got to learn a lot and contribute and I felt like a made a real difference. His Hospitality was amazing and after working we would go on some great adventures or just enjoy the night. Stargazing to sandboarding down dunes to Meeting the locals and going to the markets. It was beyond amazing. I plan on going back. Phenomenal food, amazing culture, kind loving people, it’s an amazing place to be immersed in. Message me if anyone has any questions I’ll be glad to answer any questions, but without a doubt, one of the greatest most fulfilling weeks of my life. 10/10 I would highly recommend.

Thank you so much to Hammou and Ibrahim for the fantastic time!! I stayed at the farm for three weeks and learned a lot about local life. The farm is located in a small village surrounded by beautiful mountains and desert. The work was very interesting and varied, from caring for animals to making mud bricks and working in the vegetable garden. Hammou also taught me some Moroccan dishes, such as delicious tagines. We also went on many excursions, such as exploring tagounite and going to the desert. I will never forget the evenings making music around the campfire. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a unique Moroccan experience.
I will definitely come back!!
