We are a small, welcoming host living in a peaceful village in Southern Serbia, surrounded by nature and a simple, rural way of life. Our home is a cozy farm where we raise 80 goats and 35 sheep, with a focus on traditional goat milking and homemade cheese production. We take pride in our self-sufficient lifestyle, with access to technical water and electricity on the property.
Our farm is also home to three friendly cats and three loyal dogs, who add warmth and joy to daily life. We live in a quiet, scenic area, perfect for those who appreciate the countryside and want to experience authentic farm work.
Volunteers stay in a private apartment with a double bed, a small kitchen, and a private bathroom, ensuring comfort during their time with us.
What We Offer:
Hands-on experience in goat and sheep care, milking, and cheese-making.
A chance to connect with nature and learn about sustainable farming.
A peaceful environment to relax and enjoy the simplicity of rural life.
We’re excited to welcome volunteers who share our passion for farming, animals, and a slower pace of life!
Our daily farm life is centered around goat and sheep care, with a strong focus on traditional milking, animal feeding, and homemade cheese production. We’re excited to share our knowledge and hands-on experience with WWOOFers, helping them learn the ins and outs of sustainable farming.
Morning (3 hours): Start the day with feeding the animals, milking the goats, and collecting fresh milk for cheese production. Afterward, we focus on cleaning the barns and ensuring the animals are comfortable.
Afternoon (2 hours): Prepare and process the cheese, tend to any remaining chores, and sometimes work on farm maintenance or seasonal tasks.
Free Time: Volunteers have the rest of the day to relax, explore the village, or enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Days Off: Sutarday and Sunday are a rest days for everyone—no work, just time to recharge or explore the area.
We provide simple but comfortable accommodation in a private apartment on our farm. The apartment includes a double bed, a small kitchen, and a private bathroom, ensuring a cozy and independent space for volunteers.. We offer three daily meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), prepared with fresh, local ingredients—often including dairy products from our farm, such as homemade goat cheese, as well as seasonal vegetables and traditional Serbian dishes.
In my free time, I enjoy listening to music and taking peaceful walks around the countryside. For volunteers, there’s plenty to explore nearby! The farm is surrounded by beautiful nature, perfect for hiking in the scenic hills of Southern Serbia. Just 1 kilometer away, there’s a river where you can relax, swim, or enjoy a refreshing dip after a day of farm work.
