We are a small family living in the peaceful village of Obod, near Mojkovac, Montenegro. On our farm, we raise 36 goats and produce traditional homemade goat cheese. We live simply, in harmony with nature, and strive to preserve local customs and ways of life. Family members work together on the farm, and we share our home with dogs, chickens, and of course our goats — the heart of our daily life. We welcome WWOOFers who want to experience authentic rural life and take part in everyday farm activities. The work includes feeding and milking the goats (machine milking), taking the goats out to pasture and bringing them back, cleaning the barn, and helping with general farm maintenance. When needed, WWOOFers can also participate in cheese-making. Accommodation is preferably in your own tent, if you have one. We give preference to WWOOFers who wish to stay 15 days or longer, as continuity is important when working with animals. If someone does not have a tent, we can provide a room with clean bedding. Meals are shared with the family and prepared from homemade and local ingredients — goat cheese, vegetables from our garden, and seasonal fruit. We cook traditional dishes and try to accommodate special dietary needs when possible. In our free time, we enjoy music, singing, and spending time together. WWOOFers are welcome to learn about our culture, traditions, and the slower, natural rhythm of life in the countryside.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 days on this beautiful farm with Slobodan and Jelena! Our main tasks included fixing fences, herding the goats, and helping out with daily farm chores. Our hosts were fun and we enjoyed playing games with their very bright children! They are great cooks so we ate well, enjoying fresh bread daily and homemade icecream as a treat! We learned a lot about goat farming, including the by-products they sell, and about life in Montenegro generally. Recommend a stay here and wish them every success!

Jelena and Slobodan were so great. Their warmth, hospitality and laid-back attitude made me feel instantly welcome. Their projects for the farm are inspiring and I am glad to have helped them in a small way. They have offered me an unforgettable experience in return: excellent home-made meals, walks in an idyllic mountain valley, the cutest little goats! The work was varied and they encourage wwoofers to work at their own pace if doing more tiring tasks. They were really helpful, always willing to show me how they do things and sharing details about their life. I am grateful to have experienced their world for a few days. Thank you!!

I had a wonderful stay at Jelena and Slobodan's farm! They welcomed me warmly and made me feel at home. I enjoyed taking part of their daily life around the goats, playing with their young son Vok, cuddling their dog, and I learned a lot about Montenegro history and culture. I also ate very well, as they are both great cooks. I mostly watched the goats in the fields during the day and fed the baby goats in the evening. I also helped dig a tunnel for the water pipes. It was an amazing experience and I definitely recommend it!

We spend five beautiful days at the farm with Slobodan, Jelena, and the goats. Our main task was to clean the stable and feeding the goats and of course to herding them. Unfortunately the weather was quite bad and we had lots of rain and on two days even snow, which was cold but also really beautiful. The view and especially the sunset from the house is breathtaking. The homemade yogurt and especially the bread from Slobodan is really good We would really recommend a stay at Gazdinstvo Vujicic

Thank you for the best week with Jelena, Slobodan and the goats ❤️ They are the kindest and most welcoming hosts, who take a genuine interest in their guests, show great trust in the work, and spoil you with wonderful homemade traditional food. We extended our stay like all the other volunteers and would love to come back one day! Lots of love, Sofy and Savannah

I spent six days with Jelena, Slobodan, and their two children. I had a wonderful time. I learned a lot about goats, cheesemaking, and life in Montenegro. I helped build new fences and did other work around the goats. The food was so good, and I really loved all the cute animals. I felt like a family member and hope I can come back someday. I wish you all the best.
