We are a small family living in the peaceful village of Obod, near Mojkovac, Montenegro. On our farm, we raise 36 goats and produce traditional homemade goat cheese. We live simply, in harmony with nature, and strive to preserve local customs and ways of life.
Family members work together on the farm, and we share our home with dogs, chickens, and of course our goats — the heart of our daily life. We welcome WWOOFers who want to experience authentic rural life and take part in everyday farm activities.
The work includes feeding and milking the goats (machine milking), taking the goats out to pasture and bringing them back, cleaning the barn, and helping with general farm maintenance. When needed, WWOOFers can also participate in cheese-making.
Accommodation is preferably in your own tent, if you have one. We give preference to WWOOFers who wish to stay 15 days or longer, as continuity is important when working with animals. If someone does not have a tent, we can provide a room with clean bedding.
Meals are shared with the family and prepared from homemade and local ingredients — goat cheese, vegetables from our garden, and seasonal fruit. We cook traditional dishes and try to accommodate special dietary needs when possible.
In our free time, we enjoy music, singing, and spending time together. WWOOFers are welcome to learn about our culture, traditions, and the slower, natural rhythm of life in the countryside.
