Potatofarm with a stunning view

We are Anna and Einar, we run a potato farm in south east Iceland. We have an arrange of animals living on our farm including pigs, goats, sheep, horses and dogs. We also have a few guesthouses. Our farm is surrounded by stunning views of glaciers, mountains and fields.
You can usually find us out in the fields gathering potatoes, this is a full time job. After gathering around 10-15 tons of potatoes (we use machines for this, don't worry), we take them inside to clean and pack them.
WWOOFers would learn about the Icelandic horse and how to care for the animals on the farm. They can learn all about the process of growing vegetables. We produce all of the meat we consume ourselves and some of the vegetables we eat. They'll have a chance to learn about the nature and icelandic culture.
Our day begins with feeding the animals, that takes around 90 minutes. From there we move on to the potato field, we spend about 5-8 hours there each day.
Two days a week we wash the potatoes, dry and pack them. After that we send them to the grocery stores.
WWOOFers would stay in a small cabin equipped with two bedrooms, toilet and a shower, a small kitchen and a sitting room.
We provide four meals a day, breakfast, light lunch, afternoon coffee and a full dinner.
We love music, cooking, baking, spending time outside and just enjoy being alive.
There is a small town close by, only a ten minute drive from our farm. There you'll find a swimming pool, a golf course, restaurants, a coffee house, a library and a bar.
There are many walking paths around the area and you can also go fishing!
