Welcome to Leonpolio dvaras (Leonpolis manor) - it is an old manor in Lithuanian countryside that has been acting for many years as a farm. We grown seasonal local vegetables, fruits and berries and deliver our harvest to our shop in Vilnius, online, restaurants and other customers. Everything is organic and food variety is huge to support us from early spring to late autumn. The highest season is June-August. You will meet owners Mindaugas and Romualda Stragiai and discover their passion for high quality food products. Very friendly dog Leo and other family members enjoy visiting Leonpolis for leisure and nature. Our staff works at farm every Monday to Friday according to the schedule and weather conditions. They plant seeds, water plants and collect harvest to prepare deliveries of fresh products. They also make some production like drying herbs, fermenting vegetables or making sweet jams. We can teach you everything from how to seed the plant up to the preservation for winter. The owners do not live in the farm full-time, but regularly come to participate in farming activities. You will experience many farming activities and you will never get bored with our variety of plants. We will provide a room for our guests in a cottage and will share kitchen facilities at the main house. We provide products and all utilities for meal preparation. A big refrigerator, a dishwasher and a nice coffee machine is available for your usage. Laundry machine at your service. We have experience with international youth exchange and we value personal independence as well as the quality time together. While staying with us you can enjoy beautiful nature and go hiking, biking or swimming in the river. Our manor is a place of art exhibitions and open to tourists, so you can meet interesting people and chat with our visitors. We like BBQs during weekends and invite all our guests to join them as a family.

I enjoyed my one-week stay at Leonpolio dvaras very much! The hosts, Romualda and Mindaugus, were extremely welcoming, made sure that I felt like at home, and we spend some really nice time together on the weekend. On the farm, I got insight into a variety of different tasks: harvesting blueberries, apples and mint, planting strawberries, some weeding and I also had the chance to assist to the apple juice production, which was a very cool experience. ;) The whole team of the farm is very nice and it's impressive how they manage all the different tasks at the organic farm and for their shop. In the end, time passed so quickly and I would have loved to stay longer. So, I would definetly recommend this place! :)

Thank you so much for welcoming me so warmly, even though it was only for a few days. I was able to help with harvesting vegetables, weeding, and preparing dried herbs. It was really hot, but I had such a great time talking with everyone, not just the family. Every meal, the wonderful dinner on the last day, and watching movies together have all become precious memories for me. When you come to Japan, please let me know! I’m sure you’ll absolutely love the art festival held in my hometown, Tokamachi and Matsudai.

I had an amazing time at Romas and Mindaugas place. Working, and learning about plants and spending time together, everything in the surroundings of the beautiful manor. It's a beautiful place, and managing it requires a lot of hard work. It was a truly wonderful experience. The owners were so kind, I feel like I have known them for much longer than just two weeks. Working along with them and other workers, having shared meals, and spending time together also after work was really bonding and made me feel like a part of their community. I was working on various things, and had a chance to experience different things throughout my whole stay. Never felt bored. Food was amazing, as well as accommodation. I didn't expect that nice conditions. Couldn't ask for more. I highly recommend this place!!
