I'm Anis a 5th generation olive farmer. Passionate about agriculture, heritage and slow way of life we welcome curious, respectful WHOOFers from around the world who are engaged to learn and live simply in harmony with the land. At our centennial olive grove you will experience dry farming, a traditional and sustainable method where olive trees grow without irrigation, relying solely on natural rainfall. this technique not only conserves water but also encourages strong, deep roots and high-quality fruit. We also use organic composting, natural weed control, and seasonal pruning to maintain soil health and biodiversity. We inherited the way of taking care of this century olive grove and we would like to share these inheritage and know how with you. Our farm is located in the olive forest of the region of Sfax. We are a dedicated to excellence. Daily life on the grove Harvest olives ( you will be joining a lovely team ) Preparing natural compost Trim the olive trees ( will teach you how to ) Sorting and labeling olive oil bottles Cooking with local produce Classify the archives You will be hosted in to our guesthouse, the food will be cooked by locals and served 3 times a day You will have the opportunity to experience the full silent, the land is flat you can run, walk. We have a fly yoga, a hammock and a dedicated place to meditated We believe sustainable agriculture is not just a method , Since 1905 we have been maintaining ethical and sustainable ways growing olives. it respects nature's rhythm, values quality over quantity and leaves space for future generations to grow. We hope to share our knowledge and keep this way of life alive.

Je tiens à remercier Anis, pour cette expérience incroyable que j’ai vécue au sein de son oliveraie ! J’ai adoré en apprendre davantage sur les oliviers, la récolte et l’extraction de l’huile. Anis est une véritable source de savoir et m’a permis de rencontrer des personnes expertes dans ce domaine. Chaque jour, j’ai découvert de près toute la vie sociale et professionnelle qui tourne autour des oliviers. C’était une expérience profondément humaine : j’y ai rencontré des personnes formidables et j’ai vécu une parenthèse hors du temps, où l’on savoure la simplicité et la beauté de la vie.
