We are Anastasia and Milosh, living on a small farm in the forest, surrounded by mountains, creating a simple and mindful life, filled with care for nature, animals, and our home.
We have recently moved here and are happy to share this place with our little family of animals: two friendly dogs and two cats. In addition, we keep chickens, quails, and rabbits.
We grow fruits and make homemade jams. We are surrounded by a rich variety of herbs that we use for teas and natural remedies. We try to use local produce as much as possible and make our own food - baking bread, preserving fruits, and cooking in a simple, homemade way. We are also lucky to have clean spring drinking water nearby.
As we are still settling in, we especially need help with building projects and developing the farm. Main tasks include:
🐂 Taking care of the animals
🏚️ Restoring an old stone barn that will be used for animals
🌿 Cutting trees, clearing space, and digging beds
🔨 Helping build additional room for volunteers
Life on the farm can be physically demanding, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys being active outdoors, is motivated to work hard, and is eager to learn a variety of farm tasks.
Accommodation is available in a separate room in the house. It’s not finished yet, but the basic amenities are ready. You can also stay in our old stone authentic house if you prefer.
Our property is located just below the remains of an ancient city, making it a beautiful place for walks and hikes.
We usually share at least one meal a day all together as a family. If you have any food preferences or dietary needs, just let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.
We’ll be glad not only to share work time with you, but also to enjoy days off together, going hiking, swimming in the mountain rivers, or simply relaxing in nature.
If you’re interested in living in the peaceful forest homestead, surrounded by mountains, while helping to build a home and farm from the heart, we would love to welcome you!
