However, our WWOOFers also get to experience eco-building, regenerative farming, and off-grid living. 🌿 What You’ll Learn & Do Here 🐝 Beekeeping (Main Focus!) Assist with hive inspections and maintenance Learn the art of breeding queen bees and managing colonies Help with honey extraction and processing Understand pollination and ecosystem sustainability Learn how to identify bee health issues and practice natural remedies 🏡 Eco-Construction & Homesteading Work on cob building, woodworking, and upcycling projects Help build A-frame houses, outdoor kitchens, and a treehouse Maintain our off-grid water and solar power systems 🌱 Regenerative Gardening & Animal Care Learn permaculture techniques and assist with planting, weeding, and harvesting Care for our free-range chickens and collect fresh eggs Composting, soil enrichment, and making natural fertilizers ☀️ What a Typical Day Looks Like Each day depends on the season and ongoing projects, but generally: 🌅 Morning (8:00-12:00): Start the day with beekeeping tasks, hive inspections, or gardening. 🍽️ Lunch & Break (12:00-15:00): Enjoy a relaxing break with food and free time. 🔨 Afternoon (15:00-18:00): Work on eco-building projects, permaculture, or animal care. 🌙 Evenings: Sunset dinners together, campfires, music, and sharing stories. We believe in simple, natural, and nourishing food, often sourced from our garden or foraged from the land. 🥗 Meals We prepare and share dinners together most nights, with hearty, home-cooked meals. Breakfast & lunch are more relaxed—you can forage, cook what you like, or share meals with other volunteers. We use fresh, local ingredients whenever possible, and we’re happy to accommodate dietary preferences. 🏡 Accommodation WWOOFers will have a private sleeping space in a cozy cabin, tent, or A-frame hut, depending on availability. There’s access to a shared outdoor kitchen, composting toilet, and a solar-powered shower. We live close to nature, so expect a rustic, back-to-basics experience with all the essentials! We’re a community that loves music, cooking, storytelling, and creative projects!
