Hello dear my name is Youness 32 years, my project located near tagounite village in a oasis place,As a Host with my brother ,we enjoy welcoming volunteers who are eager to learn, contribute, and experience farm life firsthand. Whether you’re a seasoned farmer or a beginner, I am happy to guide you through different tasks such as planting, harvesting, animal care, composting, and maintaining the farm. I believe in a hands-on approach and love exchanging ideas about farming, sustainability, and rural living.
In addition to work, I value a friendly and welcoming atmosphere where we can share meals, stories, and experiences. Volunteers here can expect to gain practical skills, enjoy fresh farm produce, and immerse themselves in a fulfilling, nature-driven lifestyle.

Very welcoming stay - the host is called Hixam and he is an excellent host, good cook and lovely to be with. The Sahara trip is amazing. The place is walkable to Tagounite. Tagounite has a surprising amount of facilities including small supermarkets and a bank,

I had a very special experience here in Tagounite. I do not know of a better way to experience another culture with genuinely generous people.
The work was very laid back, mixed and flexible, which took a by of getting used to, I made bamboo roof coverings, fed the goats and dogs, made tagine, cut posts for the roof amoungst other things during my time there.
I also made a 4 day trip to the desert which was a real spiritual experience and good challenge, We walked 4/5hrs day, rode the camel some of the time , slept outside under the stars.
I highly recommend.

I had a very good experience. I stayed at home of Younes brother Mohammed. He was very welcoming. We spend most time collecting water from local well, making bricks from mud and cutting grass for animals (at my visit - rabbits). Few months before my arrival, there was a big rain that damaged most of the village, so we spend some time rebuilding. Work was usually for 3-4 hours a day. It was very relaxing experience. The host provided excellent food (mostly tajines, berber bread and tea). The place had toilette, shower and wifi. This was my first WWOOF experience and it was a great one, I wish to return one day.

My friend tomas, is a good, active person who gets along well with the atmosphere and the family. He works good , and is a social person by nature. He loves learning the Arabic language and the simple life.
