Ananda Putta Bhumi is an integrated development project of Ananda Marga Poland, with a primary focus on agriculture, spiritual practices, yoga, and meditation. Our community currently includes two full-time monks, a Ukrainian refugee family consisting of a grandfather, parents, and two children, as well as a volunteer from Sweden. We also care for four cows, one calf, and two dogs. Our focus is on growing organic produce. Daily activities vary depending on the planting season and may include tasks such as seedling preparation, planting, weeding, harvesting, and preserving the harvest. You may also find opportunities to explore cheese production, beekeeping, and other agricultural practices. At Ananda Putta Bhumi, we adhere to a strict yogic sentient diet. Our meals vary in style, ranging from Indian, Polish, and Ukrainian to Asian cuisine, and are all vegan or vegetarian, prepared without onion, garlic, or mushrooms. Additionally, the farm maintains a drug- and smoke-free environment. You are welcome to join our daily spiritual practices, including chanting and yoga sessions. Our farm is also ideally situated near a national park and a majestic mountain, offering excellent opportunities for hiking and adventure.

I had a great time at Ananda. At the beginning it was difficult because everything is new and different but after a few hours/days when you get to know the others you'll really have fun ! Everybody is nice and helpful, you can also have deep conversations with some :) I'll certainly come back one day !

I really loved my stay in Ananda ! I had the opportunity to meet an amazing, kind and open-minded community. I really enjoyed each and every moment of these few days, and the views of the Polish countryside and mountains was breathtaking. Working there was interesting and it never was hard-work ! I'll definitely come back and make some more brioches 😉

I stayed for 10 days in early October. I helped with harvesting vegetables, cleaning and sorting them, cooking, and preserving foods like chili peppers in jars. The vegetables and fruits were really fresh and delicious, and the meals were cooked very well. It was my first time eating vegetarian food, and I really enjoyed it. The yoga and meditation sessions were very impressive. I didn’t know much about meditation before, but they showed me how to do it and how to feel it. Local people also joined the yoga sessions. Even though I didn’t speak Polish, everyone was welcoming and friendly, so I felt relaxed. Every day was peaceful, comfortable, and healthy. I learned so many new things and was constantly inspired. It was truly a wonderful experience. I want to say again, thank you for everything!

Our experience volunteering at Ananda Putta Bhumi for a week has been nothing but wonderful. It is a very special place with social, open-minded people and we were welcome to take part in all of the activities straight away. The farming is very diverse, they have fields filled with different kinds of fruit trees, potatoes, cucumber and zucchini and pumpkins as well as multiple greenhouses filled with tomatoes, beans, berries and all sorts of other produce. On top of that they have cows and manage tens of hectares of Buckwheat, Barley and other Grains. There is enough work to be done, so you definitely get the chance to do and learn about all sorts of stuff. At the same time, they are always very respectful towards you and your wishes/needs. In general, you can feel strongly that the people who live/come here, live by a philosophy of kindness towards others as well as nature. This really contributed to a welcoming and pleasant stay. It felt like every day was a new adventure and you could just go with the flow, which has really inspired us. If you like, you can also learn a lot about spirituality from the people here. Highly recommend it if you are looking for something extraordinary - we will definitely be coming back.

I stayed for 12 days and had a fantastic time. In the beginning, Crystal was still there and I can confirm all of her comments :) As for the activities, I can add: 🌱 planting tomatoes, harvesting broccoli and chinese cabbage 🥛 learning about milking and making cheese / yogurt 🚜 driving the tractor (with more experience, it might have be possible to help out on the field) 🧘‍♀️ taking part in a Yoga and in a cooking class and in one of their meditation sessions, thus getting to know more on spirituality of Ananda Marga in a practical and also theoretical way through inspiring and patient conversations 🐕 hugging the baby cow and Scooby ⛰️ discovering the beautiful region. 🛌🫧 I slept very well in a comfortable bed (everything for bedding as well as towels are provided, and you can use a washing machine). What I really want to focus on is the enormously great ATMOSPHERE. Everyone is accepted and appreciated as they are, and if you are open and interested (which I was), you can learn so much - not only on agriculture, but also on food & cooking (someone is always preparing something, but you're free to cook or assist, and you can also make yourself continental breakfast if you like), medicine, spirituality, and more - everything seen as a service to humanity. I'll definitely come back to that place, thank you so much 🙏
