Hello WWOOFers, My name is Ivan and I am the co-ceo of Mokrin House a coliving/coworking space in rural Serbia. Next to our coliving space we have a farm that we use to make produce for our guests. Even though Mokrin is located in rural Serbia, the crowd that comes to us is quite international and we think you will have a great time in our space. Most of the days it will be work on our vegetable and fruit farm. We do have a chicken coop that we have recently to rebuilt, but currently the most work will be connected to just working on 15 different types of tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchinis, pumpkins, onions, garlic and other everyday vegetables. We will provide you with 3 meals a day but on one day a week, we will cook together, mostly something that we harvest ourselves. We also prefer if you would stay for 2+ weeks, because we believe you will that a few days of adaption are necessary for the full experience to form. In 2026, we plan to start a regenerative farm on a 12 hectares of land, where we plan to incorporate grain farming, livestock farming, beekeeping, agroforestry etc. We will need a lot of help in this :) I love cooking and motorcycles. Mokrin House is located in a village that has a lot of activities especially in the summer. Also the town of Kikinda is close by, only a 10 minute drive and the town has a theatre, bars, restaurants, museums and everything you can expect form a picturesque town built in the Austro-hungarian times.

My time at Mokrin House was very pleasant. In addition to the farm, the place is very enjoyable and we really had time to enjoy the place and its surroundings. Ivan as well as Dragan make the days very fun. I highly recommend this experience.

We had a great WWOOFing experience at Mokrin House. The whole team was incredibly welcoming, and we felt comfortable from the very beginning. We worked with Dragan, the gardener, every morning except on weekends, mainly taking care of the tomatoes. He taught us a lot about gardening and also shared interesting insights into Serbian culture. The afternoons were mostly free, which gave us plenty of time to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Mokrin House. There is also a gym and bicycles available. Another highlight was the food: three delicious meals a day, freshly prepared by the chefs.

This is what I expected from the wwoof experience. Living like a local. I loved the village of Mokrin and the town of Kikinda, and everyone I met there. I felt right at home. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. I'm so lucky to have experienced the culture so closely. I'd love to visit again someday:)

Great success–I recommend, especially if your past wwoof experiences haven't been the best. The rooms were really clean and comfortable and we had three delicious meals a day prepared by the amazing staff. I really appreciate everyone's hard work in accommodating us during such a busy time (a full commercial was filmed while I was there). Working with Dragan was very fun and we learned a lot from him: everything from the history of Serbia to the finer points of rakija. Hvala lepa to Dragan for the beautiful time, and hvala lepa to Ivan for hosting me!! Maybe I will come back sometime.. Hvala lepa za rakija–pice je tezak posao!

My time at Mokrin House was amazing!! There wasn't much work there, and what there was was manageable. The food and accommodation were phenomenal. Other than that, the people involved in the place and those who work there are friendly, open and not the least very kind. They did a lot to make us WWOOFers feel at home, which I really appreciated. In addition to that, they showed us the village, the surrounding areas and took us to events, which was so cool. I can highly recommend Mokrin House, especially if you seek freedom, relaxation and a great atmosphere.
