Hello my name is Ronald Solami aged 42 ,Iam a Nurse holding a bachelor of Science in Nursing from Zambia and im passionate about the environmental and its sorroundings in line with its nature ,ecology and its ecosystem.
Iam a change agent of the environment in respect with Organic farming .
Our project is located in the Western part of Zambia of Central Africa.We are an organic ecosystem in livestock ,Homested,Agritourism and Agriforest farming organisation.
We keep Pigs, Rabbits,Guinea pigs,guinea fouls and chickens .We enhance organic gardening and orchading through the collection of manure from our piggery.
We plant plants for fruits and vegetables to enhance food security and to fight against the effects of climate change in our space through the planting of trees and vegetables.
We support the use of organic farming and educate our communities about the environmental education for the benefits of organic farming and health living.
We promote Agriforest by planting many trees in our farm and other villages.
Our objective is to promote organic farming for health food security in our areas and combat the effects of climate change in Zambia through an integration of Agriforest and Livestock farming.
At our Organic farm we have Dogs ,Cats,Pigs and Rabbits
We have our community local volunteers ,our two managers who stay at the farm.
We produce organic manure from our pigs and Rabbits later make organic compost manure depositions for our garden and orchard.
We are practicing AgriForest using ecosystem approach.Our animals and birds produce organic manure which is intergrated into ecosystem of organic farming thereby making our plants and trees benefit from organic manure.The trees produce fruits like mangoes,oranges,lemons,guava,cashews nuts and other wild fruits in which some fruits are given to our pigs and Rabbits.
We would love to teach WWOOFers about Agroforest ,Ecosystem and Organic farming and how we integrate ,Livestock,crop and Agroforest agriculture under one umbrella.
Our Accommodation
Currently we have one bedroom house ,6 Camping tents and two rooms structure made out of local materials.
We have our outdoor showers and a toilet.
We have clean underground borehole water powered by our gen set.
We have a solar station for lighting,charging phones and laptops
Meals:
We have a communal out door kitchen.
For our meal plan we have 3 meals in a day and we encourage volunteers to participate in the preparation of our locals foods available from Western Zambia .
In Zambia our stapple food is maize and our main meal Nshima which is a byproduct of maize,it is saved with relish like fish,Beef,beans and vegetables.
We also have rice , cassava,sweet potatoes and fruits like mangoes oranges ,avocados and other wild fruits that are delicious.
Our Availability:
We are available the whole year and allow our visitors to stay for 1 to 2 weeks

(c)We are into Eco construction and intergral ecology teaching and internship to volunteers from different countries.

(e)We focus on the restoration and building of organic soil for health foods.

Who is at our Farm:
We have an enthusiastic family and our local volunteers who help us to get going with farm activities.
Our Daily Activities with our volunteers during their stay is listed below :
1.We do animal care.
2.We garden,mulching,plant fruits and many more trees.
3.Making compost manure sites and teaching our villagers on the importance of harvesting compost manure.
4.Providing capacity building in organic ecosystem agroforest and livestock to our community.

We are guided by the Covid local health provision by tbe ministry of Health Zambia.

What will the WWOOfers learn from us?
We would love to teach the WWOOFers about our Integration of Ecosystem .
We would teach them about the significance of our environment and geographical landscape of our Barotse plains that has two characters in a year,where by it gets flooded from January up to April and dries up from May to November yearly and this is an incredible natural event.
We will teach our WWOOfers about Rural living in a village setup ,Agro Ecological and sustainability biodiversity.
Our Request:
Being in an infancy stage,we envision ourselves into a vibrant organic farm with a bright future,we are open to learn new ideas from our visitors.
We are in need of developing and expanding a proposed modern and standard organic farm infrastructure in the near future.
We are looking for a number of volunteers to come over to Western Zambia of Africa and support our vision for Agritourism, Agriforest,Ecosystem,Homested and livestock Farming with knowledge and capacity building and we will appreciate any form of support from anywhere to help us expand on our infrastructure.
We encourage those organic ,organic farming and eco construction to come and share their skills with us.
We shall provide a platform to allow our visitors to explore and share ideas with us.
