1. Describe your project, your place, and its inhabitants (including animals):
We are planting the arabica coffee by the seeds so you can join us to plant since the seeds still in the polybag to the land. And we are preparing all the organic fertilizer to support the soil to keep it not only fertile but healthy too. Instead we are planting the plants as the food forest such as banana, cassava, potato, chili, paddy field, and so on.
Our farm beside the hills and the valley. You can do hiking by the hills and forest if you want.
Inside the jungle there are hawk, wild boar, wild chicken and so many monkeys there. and you can feed the chickens and buffalos everyday. Beside that we have many dogs with us especially the border collie dog named Billy 🐶😁
2. List the activities that WWOOFers will participate in and what you want to teach them:
1. Making the planting hole for the coffee
2. Planting the coffee seeds
3. Making the organic fertilizer at our own jungle
4. Feeding the livestock at the farm such as chickens, buffalos, dogs, etc
5. Learning together with us to cook how to make the signature food of Batak Toba ethnic
6. Operating the tractor for the land clearing
7. You can explore the Toba Lake, and the Batak Toba community arround north Tapanuli.
3. How will you feed and house WWOOFers? Please describe your accommodations and plan for meals:
Our accommodations are based in our farm. Its made of woods. There is kitchen and bathroom too. There is spring in the farm so the water gonna be enough for the whole family, worker and wwoofer's.
4. What could a WWOOFer's day look like at your site (time slot for participation in activities, expectations...)?
The wwoofer's can join us to do the activities in the farm with our own workers. We hope that the wwoofer's can learn together with us how to build the organic farm.
