1. Describe your project, your place, and its inhabitants (including animals):
It’s paradise place from 8 hectares land in Chongoene Kumine Xai Xai in Mozambique. I’m Julia from Germany and my husband Feliz is from Mozambique. We have also a cute Son with the name Jaguar.
We are a organic farm and also practice Permaculture.
Further we have chickens, turtle and a dog with the name Wolf.
It’s very beautiful and quiet and peaceful here in Xai-Xai and it’s also close by very beautiful beaches. 🌊🏝🐬
It’s like paradise here, because everything grow here. The soil is so good that you can easy live from your own land. 🌻🌸🌴🍌🥑🍉🐿🦧🦜🌞
One day people will wake up from they long sleep and will remember what is important in life.......to make your own paradise garden and to transform the whole planet again in one beautiful paradise. So as it was in the beginning so it shall be at the end. ☺️ (Anastasia)
Further we have a lot of land next to our land so we can helping people also who are interesting in to have there own land in Mozambique. 😉
2. List the activities that WWOOFers will participate in and what you want to teach them:
1-Working in the garden
2-Planting more vegetables and plants
3-Preparing beds for to plant
4-Giving plants water
5-Harvesting vegetables and fruits
6-Giving the chickens and animals food.
The volunteers can learn about organic farming and also about Permaculture. We also can practice different languages together. And we also can practice Tai Chi together for who like and want.
Further we also like to learn from our volunteers.
3. How will you feed and house WWOOFers? Please describe your accommodations and plan for meals:
We live in a beautiful wooden house. But for the volunteers we have separate a little beautiful cement house with a private bathroom also. The room for the volunteers have a beautiful view because the room is upstairs.
Further we prepare 3 meals per day for the volunteers.
4. What could a WWOOFer's day look like at your site (time slot for participation in activities, expectations...)?
-From 06:00 am to 07:00 am to give all the plants water and to feed the animals for example.
-From 07:00 am to 08:00 am planting more plants or preparing beds for to plant. Or also harvesting vegetables or fruits for example.
-From 08:00 am to 08:30 am Pause Breakfast.
-From 08:30 am to 11:30 am again planting more plants or preparing beds for to plant. Or also harvesting vegetables or fruits for example.
-From 11:30 am free time
-From 12:00 Am Lunch
-From 04:30 Pm to 05:30 Pm maybe giving the plants one time more water for example.
-From 05:30 Pm for example possible to take shower.
-From 06:00 Pm Dinner
Working time maximum 5 hours per day from Monday to Friday. Saturday and Sunday Free.
We also can practice Permaculture together when you are interesting. 😊
5. Play the guide! Talk about your own hobbies (music, cooking, etc.) and those possible around (hiking, swimming, etc.):
Our hobbies are working in the garden. Practice Permaculture. Walking, swimming, hiking mountains and also playing guitar. Or practice Tai Chi also.
