A private farm producing dates, figs and vegetables
Saudi Arabia
I travel to many countries, including America, China, India, Hong Kong, the Emirates, Qatar, and many Arab countries. I live on a small farm in the Qassim region that produces dates, figs, and vegetables. They are all organically grown, and we do not sell any of them. They are all for self-sufficiency, and there are a few sheep, camels, horses, chickens, ducks, and rabbits. And the bathroom. There is a garden in which there are camps for rent. The work will be for two or three hours only in mowing the grass, collecting eggs, or cleaning the place. There are several options for housing. There are private rooms and a shared bathroom. There is an air-conditioned tent with a bathroom and a private kitchen. There is also all kinds of food and the kitchen can be accessed. At any time, in free time, we can participate in cooking, cycling, horse riding, or walking. We can visit the city every day to go to the supermarket, restaurants, or visit historical monuments. I have a cat shelter with 15 cats.

I spent five wonderful weeks on the farm, and it was a fantastic experience. Saleh is incredibly kind and laid-back, creating an atmosphere where I felt comfortable and well-cared for from day one. The tasks were diverse and engaging, and I truly appreciated the level of trust Saleh placed in me; he gives you the freedom to work independently without ever looking over your shoulder. It was a pleasure being there!

My six days with Saleh were truly wonderful and gave me an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend staying at his farm.
I visited in October, when the days were hot and sunny, so we worked mainly in the early morning and late afternoon. The farm is home to livestock, date palms, and various crops, as well as a campsite — and I helped with many different tasks related to these. Saleh explained everything clearly in English and was always attentive to the heat and our well-being, so I never had to worry about anything.
Outside of work, we enjoyed coffee and dates during breaks, delicious homemade meals, and great conversations about local life and culture. The people in Saudi Arabia are incredibly kind, the nature is beautiful, and the food is amazing. I’ll definitely come back again!

I spent 12 wonderful days in this farm. I have only good feedback for the host Saleh, he always strived to make me feel welcome. I would also hung out with his group of friends, getting to know the local culture, eating typical Saudi dishes... very good vibes. One of my favorite activities during my stay has been interacting with the camels near the farm, drinking their milk, etc...
I had a great time and I would recommend it to anyone.
