1. Describe your project, your place, and its inhabitants (including animals): Permaculture garden: tomatoes in a greenhouse, vegetables, berries, fruit trees, many flowers, medical herbs. Food preservation for winter Herbalism: making own vinegars (many types), tinctures, dried herbal teas, creams etc Inhabitants: Me (woman). 1 dog and 2 cats Natural house: strawbale and clay 30 km away from Krakow, 8 km to railway station, train goes 25 minutes to Krakow, 5 km to bus stop, bus every 20 minutes to Krakow, goes 40 minutes. I give the ride to railway station or a bus stop. 2. List the activities that WWOOFers will participate in and what you want to teach them: Gardening: preparing the beds for vegetable , herbs and flowers, weeding, watering tomatoes Picking the vegetables and fruits, food preservation for winter Picking the herbs: drying herbs, making vinegars I can teach all of these activities. 3. How will you feed and house WWOOFers? Please describe your accommodations and plan for meals: 1 private bedroom for WWOOFer, I can accommodate 1 person or a couple, that is maximum. Kitchen and bathroom shared with me. Three main meals daily and of course snacks. I enjoy very much meals cooked by someone, all the ingredients provided. 4. What could a WWOOFer's day look like at your site (time slot for participation in activities, expectations...)? I expect some help in the garden: preparing beds, mulching, weeding, composting, harvesting, food preservation, herbalism, picking herbs, drying etc I would like about 4-5 hours work a day, Sunday is free, maybe a bit more on Saturday 5. Play the guide! Talk about your own hobbies (music, cooking, etc.) and those possible around (hiking, swimming, etc.): Gardening and herbalism, and growing medical herbs, always searching and trying new and interesting species possible to cultivate in Central European climate. Natural medicine, wild edible plants . Self-sufficiency: 100% self-sufficient in water: own private well plus rainwater harvesting, using rainwater for watering garden and toilet own source of electricity - photovoltaic panels

I loved my stay at Pod bzami! Katarzyna's gardens are beautiful and I got to help with a variety of tasks. She was generous in answering my many questions-- such a pleasure to learn from a fellow herb lover. Katarzyna's excellent English made communication very easy (for me). Highly recommend.
