Harmonious Holistic Educational Centre in the jungle
Argentina
* Bioconstrución (terminación de casa, estufa rocket mass heater, pérgolas, etc.).
* Reforestación de flora nativa.
Durante ciertos momentos del año plantamos árboles nativos y frutales
* Mantenimiento.
Esta es la tarea que mayormente realizarás durante tu estadía, se podan algunas plantas y se colocan como cobertura (mulch) a otros árboles.
*Abrir pequeños cocos (similar a abrir nueces)

We are Nicole and Adrián along with 1 dog and 3 cats. We decided to leave the city life to come and live in the subtropical jungle, our project is a nature sanctuary, where we preserve the native species of flora and fauna and plant food in harmony with the place, especially tropical fruit tress. We are also dedicated to deepening the knowledge of the essence of being. It is a space in recovery and regeneration of biodiversity, we live with Titis Monkeys, Toucans, Pecaries, Arasarís, Foxes, Felines, etc.
The activities we would like you to help us with are:
* Realization of trails through the jungle.
Trails are opened by pruning bushes, trees and weeds
* Raised bed gardens, Hügelkultur garden and Keyhole garden.
Assembling gardens from scratch
* Bioconstruction (house, rocket mass heater, pergolas, etc.).
* Reforestation of native flora.During certain times of the year we plant native and fruit trees
* Maintenance.
This is the task that you will mostly perform during your stay, some plants are pruned and placed as cover (mulch) for other trees.
*Open small coconuts (similar to opening nuts)
*Eliminate invasive plants that generate disorder in the ecosystem.
During your volunteering you will use manual tools such as saw, pruning shears, machete, hoe, shovel, etc.
Visitors will be able to stay in a house with bathroom, tent, mobile home, etc.
Our dream is that the earth can be a place where we can live in harmony, peace and love; and we want to contribute our grain in the transformation. We are motivated to participate in this experience to share pleasant moments with our visitors. In the place you can explore, photograph flora and fauna, get into the river with a waterfall and enjoy like a child.

Little by little, Nicole and Adrian’s dream is becoming a reality. Kodama is a very special place in the forest. It was amazing to live there for 2 weeks, surrounded by such a beautiful nature and wild animals. I’ve observed so many butterflies, fireflies, big lizards and also the sleeping or hunting cats. I also had to overcome my spider phobia, Adrian helped me with that! I really enjoyed the wooden guest house, it was a perfect place to sleep very well, and there are many interesting books to read.
The work was diversified, and my schedule and tasks were adapted to the sun. I started to work at sunlight before it gets too hot, with the most demanding work, and in the afternoon I just cut cocos as it is the easiest job. You have to be ingenious because many of their tools are old, but you can find a way to make them work. If you are not used to that type of work, be prepared because it is really demanding and you can be really exhausted at the end of the day. And there is no day off, you have to work every day of your stay (or pay for your food and accommodation if you don’t work).
The meals were really delicious, and specially the lunch (I highly recommend you their special coconut yoghurt, I loved it so much!). Nicole is such a talented cook! Thanks for sharing recipes!
I also had long and great talks with both of them, after lunch or after dinner, we spoke about so many things, had fun and learned a lot. What an experience! Thanks!

Thanks for your detailed review about your experience here, it will be helpful for future wwoofers. We would like to add an extra explanation. Every wwoofer that is volunteering here for two weeks or more have one rest day, during that day they have to cook for themselves (we provide the ingredients)
Béatrice didn't have rest days because we cook every day. So all the people that was living together (Béatrice, Nicole, Adrián) did different taks every day as a comunity.
If she wanted a rest day, she had to cook in the outdoor kitchen (the house with kitchen was not available during her staying) and also we offer the option of having more rest days paying.

My experience was over all expectations. N & A is super engaged in what they are doing, and why they are doing it. The work was variable, often in the sun or in the rain, so bringing enough clothes for the variation of weather is necessary. Long sleeves and pants because the grass will cut your arms and legs. This is a place for you who want to learn something about nature and your self, I recommend it to open minded people who is interested in spiritual growth. And most important: the food was amazing, if you are a vegan you will love this :-) so nutritious, home cooked and organic. Increadible. I really am so thankful for this experience and I hope that N & A get to share their place and thoughts with more people who wants to change something in the world. Sending love and hugs

Nicole & Adrian are gradually building their own paradise of wellbeing and they wish to distribute wellbeing to others as well. Such a noble and unselfish goal ;)!
The surroundings of Kodama Holistico give a perfect setting for this dream; dense subtropical jungle surrounds Kodama - wow!
I spent 11 days at Kodama. Unfortunately my back was hurting from the first day almost to the very end. This limited considerably my ability to help and work at Kodama. Nicole&Adrian did their utmost best to find for me tasks which would not hurt my back. I ended up working mostly with wood (which will be later used as signs with text on them); polising wood, removing old paint from wood and oiling wood. So I wasn’t working hard at all - N&A were just incredibly patient and kind with my back problems, I am SO grateful for that!!
Sleeping premises for WWOOFers in Kodama are excellent: a separate building with a bathroom and toilet, good beds, porch, lots of space. Therefor I really felt recharged after my 11 days.
I also bought a lot of the natural products that Nicole produces herself (mainly from the materials that nature provides all around Kodama). Especially the face cream and serum are wonderful!!
Thank you so much for these 11 days of peace & quiet (except for that one poor, sad cow). I am keeping my thumbs up for your dream, dear Nicole & Adrian <3!

To be surrounded only with jungle everyday was extremely refreshing. Staying at Kodama Holístico gave me the opportunity to really connect with, and understanding the nature, seeing the similarities between it and myself. I learned a lot. I was constantly feeling peace and love from the jungle, and I felt those same feelings being around Nicole and Adrian. They shared their profound knowledge about the nature with me, and thought me about everything that I wanted to know. I am grateful and happy to have met people so kind and caring like them :)
