Our stay at Masesselin wasn’t as good as we expected it to be. The nature surrounding this place is wonderful. Close access to the river Doubs makes it easy to swim there which we really enjoyed. Jacklin is a wonderful chef - all meals were delicious! The cool thing was that they were made almost fully from the things from the garden. Nicholas taught us how to sew clothes and how to make your own notebook. We had a lot of interesting conversations with them. Both Jacklin and Nicholas gave us ton of inspiration. Unfortunately we had to and wanted to leave this place before we planed to. We thought about leaving this place but immediately we decided to give Nicholas the second chance. Although both sides tried their best to improve the atmosphere still it wasn’t the best one. There were some cool moments but for the majority of time we felt like they don’t want us here anymore. and maybe they felt that we didn’t want to be there. Finally we decided to leave this place and in the same day they also decided that we don’t belong in this place, and they don’t want us there anymore. We were shocked because there weren’t any negative reviews about this place. But later we found out why. At the end of our stay Nicholas wanted to make a deal with us to not write reviews on WWOOF about each other to what we didn’t agree. We believe that a lot of people can have there the best time of their life, but we also believe that this place is not for everyone - especially if you’re a sensiti...

Hello, you two. Actually, yes—there is another negative review, and for the same reason as yours: you shouldn't be too sensitive at this farm. Sometimes a fantastic connection develops, and sometimes the chemistry just isn't right— on one side, the other, or both. That’s just how life goes.

Nicolas and Jackeline are wonderful, their farm is like a dream. We were treated well, and enjoyed the magical splendor of their little valley. We had a nice little room to ourselves, and delicious food every day. Would recommend to others!

I had a wonderful time with Jacklin and Nicolas at their magical farm! It was my first time doing this kind of work and I really appreciated the time Nicolas took to explain how to use the tools, the purpose of what we were doing and his philosophy for the Farm/Life. I also appreciated the trust to then leave me to get on with it. It was a good mix of working together and solo. We prepared the beds to plant raspberries and strawberries. Lots of weeding and putting hay to protect the plants. I got to visit a neighbouring farm on errands and also met neighbours and picked Mirabellen with them. Also picked a lot of blackberries. My highlights beyond the gardening work were the shared organic fresh meals cooked by Jacklin and meaningful interesting conversations! They have a lot of inspiring life experiences to share and are interested to exchange with others :) and, of course, the beautiful crystal clear river that I could go bathe in after work! I can highly recommend this woofing experience. I hope to be back soon!

It was an amazing experience! The work on the farm was not hard at all, but enjoyable and full of learning. Nicolas explained every step and task in a way that made everything meaningful. You can learn so much from his knowledge and valuable advice. Jacqueline is very kind and warm-hearted, she talks to you with an open heart and makes you feel comfortable. She is a wonderful person, and her cooking is delicious! ✨ The place has high energy and positive vibes, making the stay both relaxing and inspiring. I highly recommend getting to know them and living this experience yourself – an unforgettable adventure! ✨

The most incredible week of our lives! Nicolas and Jacklin were the most welcoming people and we so enjoyed our time together. The farm work was very fair, while labor intensive, was a great opportunity to get lost in our thoughts. Jacklin’s cooking was delicious as well. We learnt so much about permaculture, giving back to nature, and about a healthy lifestyle. I wish them all the best and hope they continue living healthy prosperous lives.
