Salamo aleikom, We are Ahmed and Bomba, cousins living in the Sagalil Valley, located 30 km south of Atar city in the heart of Mauritania. Our family has owned this home and farming land in the historic region of Adrad for over five generations. Currently, we are in the process of building a garden on our farm and striving to create a diverse and sustainable community. We warmly welcome volunteers from all over the world to join us, exchange ideas about Mauritanian culture and way of life, and share their own experiences. Our farm is surrounded by lush palm trees and various other types of vegetation. Despite receiving limited rainfall in recent years, the year 2022 brought more rain than we have seen in nearly two decades, rejuvenating the river and bringing it back to life. Our goal is to transform our ancestral place into a guest house, providing a haven for travelers, artists, and digital nomads. Here, they can relax, explore the hidden oases of the Adrar plateau, and embark on adventures such as riding the famous Iron Ore Train and visiting nearby destinations. We value any knowledge and expertise our volunteers can bring, and we appreciate any help offered. Your contributions will be invaluable in our pursuit of biodiversity and sustainable farming practices, including the introduction of various animals on the farm. As our farm is currently not registered with the local administration, we kindly request your assistance in becoming the first registered host in the entire country of Mauritania. One of our current projects involves renovating our family's old houses, constructed using clay, hay, and palm tree branches. This will enable us to accommodate more people and, hopefully, establish our own Airbnb, generating income that can be reinvested in the development of the farm. We are eagerly looking forward to meeting you, sharing experiences, and learning from each other. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We will respond promptly. Thank you, and we hope to welcome you soon. Best regards, Ahmed and Bomba this is a link about the project https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1uKhnsZeqFJSaA8FtN_2rxcByZ87EVBmx

"I had a magnificent experience at Ahmed and Bomba's project. I highly recommend coming here. They are truly special people; not only do they do good for the land, but they also strive to help as many people as possible in the area. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, guys. See you next time! 💚"
