Family farm
Tunisia
In the family olive grove whose trees are 100 years old, stands our autonomous house in water and electricity, built in an ecological and naturally air-conditioned way. On this land lives Nordine, who will host you in the Superadobe, and his sister, Sabah, who is next door. We are sensitive to respect for the environment and our daily life is turned towards nature: Permacole activity (fruits, vegetables, medicinal plants, herbs, peasant seeds, ...). Animals are present to help us with this task: dog, cat, donkey, poultry. For the sake of saving resources, we recycle a maximum of materials, rainwater recovery, compost toilet.

October 2025
During my two weeks with Nordine, I learned more about trees and nature than I ever have before, and for this I will be forever grateful. Work highly depends on the season; for me, in the fall, work was light and mostly consisted of planting, cleaning, taking care of the chickens, and helping out with the project revolving around the medicinal cream. The schedule varied day by day and was mostly dependent on my preference. The food that Nordine prepared each day was delicious, the best food I’ve had on any WWOOF. I would recommend future WWOOFers to be prepared to potentially have conversations about various weighty subjects (as long as you are okay with it) and to be met with perspectives that you will most likely disagree with. Despite occasional moments of frustration, the conversations I had with Nordine are what I will cherish the most from my experience. He connected with me both intentionally and authentically, and I felt that he really cared for me. I gained wisdom during my stay that shifted something inside me and will help direct the rest of my life.

Yerham Waldeck Nordine. Et yerham waldeck Sabah.
You do not choose this place, this place chooses you.
It’s difficult to confine my experience to words.
This land and host(Nordine) offers the divine grace of the universe to everyone who allows themselves to experience it.
Whether you transform, heal, learn, evolve, connect, etc, you will leave this place with something pure.
I spent a month with Nordine for my first Wwoofing experience, and it personally changed my life!
Nothing but hospitality, generosity, and love from Nordine.
I believe whether you are looking to expand agriculturally, community, divinely, experience, knowledge, or whatever it may be, you will find it here. You might not find what you think you are looking for, but you will find what the universe knows you need.
All the above can be disregarded but what is most important is to know that the light will guide you to this special place if it is meant to be, and you don’t need to know why.
Ayshik mille fois Nordine

Wow, what an experience as my first time doing wwoofing. Nordine was very respectful and a nice person to talk to. He cooked delicious food for me and offered me a comfortable room and bed.
His farm is beautiful and I learned a lot by spending time there. Those experiences will stick with me for a lifetime.
Sometimes we had different opiniouns and our discussions got heated but always Nordine stayed respectful.
I can really recommend his farm in the wonderful coutry of Tunisia. Hope to meet again.
Inshaala

Allah M’Sali Ala nibi! We felt honoured and a true privilege to have been accepted and welcomed on this special land that is cared for by Nordine. Nordine is a generous and interesting soul who has a wealth of knowledge, and is an extraordinary cook! His food may be simple, though full of flavours and made us felt alive. It was also a great pleasure to exchange many stories and interesting discussions.
We enjoyed building a greenhouse, fixing up the garden and putting up a tent on the roof of his superadobe. We also had a great time learning Tunisian Arabic and authentic Tunisian food with Nordine and his sister, Sabah.
We highly recommend it!
Yarham waldik Nordine and Sabah for this very special experience.

Awesome stay chez Nordine! He was very organized with everything communicated very clearly how to get to the farm, which was good to have for a first WWOOFing. I also appreciated the opportunity to practice my French and help him practice his English (which is much better than my French!). He also helped the other WWOOFer and myself set up day trips to stuff in the area, and is an excellent cook. I also enjoyed time spent discussing life, playing board games, and of course learning about how a homestead works. All in all a fantastic WWOOFing and I highly recommend to anyone, especially if you are interested in seeing the self-sufficiency side of organic farming and living more in tune with Nature. Thanks Nordine, and hopefully we see each other again!

Staying at Nordine's farm was an amazing experience. Deep, meaningful conversations and exchange of knowledge. Learning a lot about permaculture, self-sufficient living and the philosophy underlying both. Doing a lot of fun manual tasks like building a greenhouse, managing chickens, or collecting medicinal plants. Incredible food cooked by Nordine from vegetables and herbs collected in the garden. Most importantly though, a lot of fun and laughs with the host and other guests. Can recommend to first-time and experienced WWOOFers alike!
