Agritourism Destination & Dairy Farm
Croatia
Welcome to Kumparička organic goat farm.
We are based in Istria and are surrounded by 60 hectares of wild forests, where our goats graze everyday. We produce a variety of organic goat milk products and have a large herd of about 150 goats.
On a daily basis we milk our goats and take them out to the pasture, take care of the garden and surrounding area.
2026 SEASON: We are accepting volunteers all year, especially starting in January & February, to help us with the baby goat season. Taking care of the babies and their mothers in this time is critical to ensure the health of both by managing the stables and food, to ensure animal welfare.
Our main projects until spring is renovating our stables, preparing for the baby goat season, building fences around the pastures, landscaping, forest management, firewood preparation.
We will also prepare the garden for the new season to keep improving the varieties of plants we grow.
Besides the goats we have 2 horses and aim to diversify our animals in the next year (chickens, ducks, cows…)
There are many different jobs on the farm all year round, either in the garden and forest or the stables etc.
Regarding your accommodation you can stay in our wooden house, you can sleep on a barn on hay, you can camp in a tent - whatever you like and we can accommodate vegetarian diets.
Our workdays are flexible because we work outside but you will always work in a team. Our goal is to build a community where we can rely on each other so we are looking for communicative and active individuals to help us pursue those goals.
Organic methods: Our goats graze freely on the natural terrain without the use of any pesticides, while our gardens are supported by the organic manure from our goats.
Certifications: AgriBioCert
Current projects: Our main projects until spring is renovating our stables, preparing for the baby goat season, building fences around the pastures, landscaping, forest management, firewood preparation.
We will also prepare the garden for the new season to keep improving the varieties of plants we grow.

I had the chance to have my first WWOOFing experience at Kumparička, and I’m so, so happy that it was at this amazing farm. Tita and her family are such kind-hearted people that you immediately feel welcome and at home. I met so many wonderful people there.
Working with the goats was a lot of fun, and I fell in love with a little baby goat (I would have loved to take her back to Germany with me). The work was varied, and there was always a way to get involved. I got to help with the daily milking of the goats, and I really enjoyed working alongside Maja. For me, it was also perfect to be able to do physical work, since that’s exactly what I wanted to get away from my daily office routine. I was also able to learn a lot of new things and ways to manage some work, and I’m happy about that.
I had such a wonderful time at Kumparička and really miss it, just as much as I miss the people and the animals. Eating together, working together, just relaxing together in the sun—everything was truly a great experience and time.
I am very grateful that I was able to have this first experience at Kumparicka and look forward to visiting the farm again someday. I wish Tita, her family, and the entire Kumparička Farm all the best from the bottom of my heart and thank you once again for these wonderful three weeks I was able to spend with you.

The family is genuinely inspiring, kind-hearted, and warmly welcomes you into their daily life.
The work is varied and enjoyable — from herding and milking goats, making caramel, helping with renovations, working at the restaurant, to spending time with the dogs...! You do everything alongside the family, with a real spirit of teamwork.
Tita is simply exceptional, managing the farm and the restaurant with remarkable energy and skill, as well as Bor the Cowboy. The whole family can be proud of what they’ve built: it’s a little paradise!
I wish them all the happiness and success in the world.
If you're looking to meet amazing people and have a truly meaningful farm experience, this is the place!!

I had the best time volunteering at Kumparička! Everyone in the family was really friendly and the work was fun. We worked in the garden in the mornings before it was too hot and in the evenings we helped with the farm to table restaurant. It was an amazing experience!

Incredible family and team! Each person has put so much of their soul into their home, Kumparička, and also somehow manages to be a full, vibrant soul outside of it. We helped with service at the farm to table restaurant (dishes, guests, kitchen prep work) , chicken care, and got to learn about the cheesemaking process, horse + goat keeping, as well as Istrian culture through food and the cheese festival the father started a decade ago. The whole family and their team is great at cooking, and it is so apparent how deeply they care about life in balance with the natural world. I loved talking and learning from them--spending time both working and outside (at the beach, with their friends) was such a privilege. Moreover, I fell sick for a few days and Tita and her mom took care of me so kindly. It was incredible to watch Tita, someone my age, have so much responsibility and drive in the farm. Thank you all for being such incredible hosts and friends for the future; I will always be inspired by you!
