1. Beschreibe dein Projekt, den Ort und seine Bewohner (einschließlich Tiere): My little farm lies in a beautifull little valley, with lots of forest and small rivers . With mostly manual work I am installing a production of vegetables, berries and some eggs. Producing a healthy soil is central in this entreprise. As well as the wellbeing of the animals, from chicken, geese, to the insects. 2. Liste die Aktivitäten auf, an denen WWOOFer teilnehmen werden, und was du ihnen beibringen möchtest: while working on my farm, you can learn a lot about the growing of vegetables, as well as about different growing techniques. You can learn about permacultural tools and where they help and where not. 3. Wie könnte der Tag eines WWOOFers bei dir aussehen (Zeitfenster für die Teilnahme an Aktivitäten, Erwartungen...)? while staying here, I would ask you to join into the rhythm of nature. This means that the daylight marks the start of the day, and the necessities of the being here have to be satisfied. I would ask you to work six hours on the field or in the forest. Beside this, your help is needed in the citchen. 4. Spiele den Guide! Spreche über deine eigenen Hobbies (Musik, Kochen etc.) und die Möglichkeiten in der Umgebung (Wandern, Schwimmen etc.): Me myself have travelled a lot but found nothing more satisfying then to grow your own food, live your own culture, create your own house, realize your dreams. Here in this nature, with minimalistic technical help, I am closer to life then in any urban region. This landscape wates for you with many surprizes and hidden places. Hiking and biking are wunderfull means to discover them.

I had the pleasure of working alongside Robi, an exceptionally skilled permaculture designer and biologist, during my time at Wila. Robi has masterfully transformed a relatively flat, monoculture-like ecosystem into a vibrant, biodiverse farm garden that exemplifies the true essence of permaculture. What stands out most is Robi’s deep respect for ecological succession and his humble, observant approach to working with nature. Rather than imposing rigid designs, he listens intuitively to the land, reading patterns and processes with sensitivity and wisdom. His designs honor every living being — from the soil microbiome to beneficial insects, birds, and larger mammals — while successfully creating abundant yields. This balanced ethic of respect and productivity is rare and deeply inspiring. Through every task he guided me through, I gained a practical, embodied understanding of core permaculture principles. Robi’s teaching style is generous and integrated; lessons in soil health, water management, plant guilds, and holistic system design emerged naturally from the work itself. His landscape design skills are outstanding — the property now flows beautifully with functional, aesthetic, and ecological harmony. I am profoundly grateful for this experience. Robi’s work is not only technically excellent but also philosophically grounded in humility and reverence for life. It was a true luxury to harvest from the very garden we were building and to enjoy Anina’s beautiful, whole...

My stay on Röbi’s farm was absolutely amazing. I learned so many things, not only about organic farming but also about traditional machines and tools used on farms. The tasks were varied, and some of them were incredibly joyful—such as picking berries with Anina or harvesting wheat. After helping on the farm, I had plenty of time to explore the valley and run through the surrounding mountains, the views were breathtaking. I also visited Rheinfall and Hörnli, which were both fascinating and beautiful places. The atmosphere on the farm was truly heartwarming, as Röbi and Anina are both lovely and inspiring people. This trip was an undeniably unique experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend visiting these hosts. Thank you, Röbi and Anina, for an amazing stay I wish you all the best!
