We are a young team (+/- 5 adults, 2 children), new on an old organic farm. Mainly we plant, take care, harvest and sell veggies. Some grains and potatoes as well. Everything is organic and vegan. We do not have any animals/livestocks. Copy-paste requests will be rejected, even those that simply have a personal greeting at the top but contain various references to “animal care” or similar in the text... No job requests, that's not what WWOOF is for. Furthermore, Switzerland has a “national priority” policy, which limits our choice of workers. Mainly we speek German (or swiss-german), english isn't a problem aswell. 1-2 can speak few spanish.. but we aren't able to give complex instruction in spanish. Mininimum 2 weeks, open for longterm. We usually work 8.5h/day, wwoofers 5 days from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (including break). Or 3 days from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. / 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A lake is about 10 min per foot or 5 per bicycle. A forest is also near, around 5min per foot. The farm is located at the end of the village, around 10min to the supermarked. Kleinere (Bremgarten, Lenzburg) in etwa 45-60min. Zertifizierungen: knospe bio + demeter Internetzugang vorhanden

Staying with Alexander and Sarah was such a wonderful experience for me! This was my first Wwoofing experience, and I'm so grateful for the two weeks on the farm. I did a variety of tasks such as harvesting, washing, and packaging veggies, cleaning crates, planting seedlings, and more! As a volunteer, I worked from 7-9 am with a short 30-minute break for breakfast, then again working from 9:30 am-12 pm (the times were not exact; sometimes we began breaks early or late, but the break was always 30 minutes). Sarah cooked the most delicious plant-based meals during the weekdays, and on weekends, we were able to make food for ourselves using their pantry and community fridge (or heat up leftovers on the stove). They have two wonderful daughters who are super friendly and playful with everyone. There is also a friendly outdoor cat who happily climbed onto my lap many times for pets and cuddles. For accommodation, I would recommend this to anyone who is able-bodied and can handle going up and down a few flights of stairs (the bedroom was on the third floor with a shared bathroom for the other two workers and me). The top floor has a lot of creaking wood, so you can hear when your neighbors get up to leave/enter their rooms. I did not mind this, but if you are sensitive to noise, you may want earplugs for sound sleep. The farm is accessible by public transport and is near a beautiful lake and a small but lively and divine forest.

Sarah and Alexander you are phenomenal hosts. You greeted me with an inviting hug and made me feel right at home. As a wwoofer you are not just a worker here, you are treated as family <3 The farm has such a peaceful atmosphere, every time i would work i was always in awe of the surroundings. There is a beautiful forest nearby where i would go on walks, and a crystal blue lake to swim in after a long day of work :P. The location is perfect, going to the cities like Zurich and Lucerne were always easy to get to. It was nice to experience life as a local. It is a quiet and safe neighborhood, everyone is super nice ^-^ The work itself was incredibly interesting. I have never worked on a farm before but Alexander and Sarah made it very easy to adapt to. Most days the work was different, so you never stop learning! We harvested a lot of tomatoes and beans, prepared boxes, planting, weeded the fields etc. The entire team is supportive, everyone helps each other out if someone falls behind. I will miss coming back to the house after work and eating your delicious meals Sarah! Especially the home-made jam and bread :). Sharing stories and laughter at the table will be a memory i will cherish for a long time. This was my first time wwoofing and it definitely wont be my last. I wish you all the best <3

Alexander and Sarah are fantastic hosts! I’m so grateful for their hospitality and for making me feel at home. No wonder the three weeks passed by so quickly. Without a doubt, I would love to stay there again.
