I had a wonderful time at Argoviva with Rahel and Alain. The garden is gorgeous, the property is spacious and retains some lovely original features. Both Rahel and Alain are kind, generous and easy to get along with. I enjoyed varied tasks in the garden with Rahel, including harvesting seeds, turning compost, preparing beds, sowing and planting on, weeding and harvesting. We also did some preserving, which I love too and it was great to learn some new recipes and ideas to take back to my kitchen. I also helped with a couple of small renovation tasks with Alain, so it was very varied. We had plenty of long and interesting conversations about lots of topics. They also included me in time with visiting friends, took me on outings, and gave thoughtful advice for solo activities. The bedroom is comfortable and I was very well fed. Thank you Rahel and Alain for such a rich and enjoyable WWOOFing experience!

Rahel & Alain are great hosts and great people. As a first-time WWOOFer, they made my experience warm and memorable. I would highly recommend staying with them to anyone looking to learn more about gardening or to share good conversation!

Rahel is an Angel and an amazing Host (≧∇≦) We had so much fun preparing the soil, doing the compost, shredding wood, prune the trees. We were so excited making ice tea sirup together, some apple mousse and jam with such amazing ingredients! We had some time to visit the public baths and to hike in the mountains to see the alps. We were so lucky meeting such a kind soul <3 Thank you Rahel for everything ヽ(´▽`)/

I spent 4 amazing days with Rahel and Alain at Argoviva. As the season was tending towards autumn (cold and light drizzles), we spent most of the time indoors processing the harvests and producing food - peeling, cutting, blending, juicing, simmering, stirring, and canning. We made plenty of jams and sauces (from chili sauce, apple jam, to mustard), they tasted really good and it gave me a huge sense of satisfaction to see the end product. I learnt a lot of methods on food preservation and cooking from Rahel and feel confident about putting the knowledge into practice when I'm back. On days when the weather was decent, we also picked some fruits, beans, and potatoes. Rahel is a gentle and kind teacher, always very accommodating. I always felt that I could be helping out more but she made sure to balance work and rest, it was very therapeutic to experience life here and through her lens. Thank you for your generosity and kindness in this short period of time, thank you for the good food and conversations. I am grateful for such a memorable first WWOOFing experience, wishing Argoviva bountiful harvests and produce for the time to come!

I had an amazing time with Rahel as she taught me a lot about canning and making syrups. We even make one form the mint we collected in the forest! My stay was pure relaxation, I was exploring surrounding areas, swimming in river and visiting cities like Zurich and Bern. Wishing you both all the best!

Alain and Rahel made our Wwoofing experience comfortable, joyful, and eventful! They have a beautiful home with a ginormous abundant garden. They set us up in 1 room to share, and shared the shower and toilet room with them (all normal and very comfortable). We supported them with a plant swap event they were hosting, so we helped organize and clean up their barn (which led us to making woodchips and lugging around tree trunks, it was a fun and unique experience for us), unplanting plants to add them to pots to share with their neighbors, picking food from the garden for our meals (like salad), baking for the event, and helping out with a few different tasks. We were very tired when we arrived, and they encouraged us to take a nap and rest. They were both super kind and generous, allowing us to pick and choose what to do and what we had energy for. The entire experience was very wholesome, it was incredible to see their community all enjoying time together picking plants and enjoying baked goods. Thank you Rahel and Alain for a magical long weekend together full of love, joy, and kindness.
