English version further down. Our farm is in the middle of the village with good public transport connection. We have a big bee operation, flours, a few vegetables, rabbits, and a pig breeding operation. From July until December we sell once a week at the weekly market in Wil. We are looking forward to meet honest, open persons.  We would like to receive only nonsmokers. Help with our different activities and in the house depending on the season. From April to December. I spent a couple months here and had the absolute best time! Even though there was a language barrier they always included me in everything and made me feel like I had a place with them. Days typically consisted of breakfast at 715, various tasks inside until lunch which you help with at 1230, more tasks, and then dinner which you help with at 1800(ish). I was there in the fall so tasks mainly consisted of weeding and preparing the garden for winter, harvesting for the weekly farmers market, feeding animals, food saving/preserving for winter, cleaning the bee house, as well as many cleaning tasks inside the house. The tasks were never particularly difficult. They also helped provide me with extra shoes to borrow as well as a bike whenever I wanted. Lunch was always had with extended family, who were also nothing but kind and caring. I got to experience so much of Swiss life and learn so many new things, I couldn't be more grateful for my time here and I highly recommend it!

During my stay, I truly felt like part of their family. They welcomed me with their whole heart, were always willing to share, and patiently explained all the new and interesting things to me. It was such a warm and memorable experience.

Thanks Cecile and August for everything, You have a very nice garden and the bees add a beautiful part. I spend time helping in the garden around the house and in my free time exploring the area with a beautiful river. They barrow me a bike and they was amazing. I wish to I speak German so I could have more deep conversations with them.

I had an incredible experience that will be remembered for the rest of my life at Bienen-Brunner. The workload requested was reasonable and is I would have happily done more work due to the incredible warm welcome that the hosts, their family, friends and town community gave me. They are all perfect Swiss cultural ambassadors. -Location: 1 hour by train from Zurich. -15 min. walk to major grocery stores. - 1 hour walk to main town of Wil or take a bus which takes~15min. If you are lucky enough to be in the area and want an experience that will positively forever impact your life, then I would highly suggest spending some time at Bienen-Brunner. Great place and life changing experience !

Cécile and her family were incredibly generous with me, I ate home cooked food (a significant portion was produce they grow), I did varied and interesting tasks and the trip brought me a lot of calm and serenity. They are living in a small heaven on earth and it was a pleasure to have them share it with me. :)

I really enjoyed my stay at Bienen-Brunner! They involved me in all aspects of their lives, not just the farm work, so I was able to meet many of their friends and family and see various parts of town, even in the short week that I was there. They were also very open to letting me get involved in any part of their work that I wanted, so I was able to help collect honey in the bee house, feed the rabbits, assist with the pig farm, and milk cows! The living accommodations were very comfortable, and I could always count on a delicious meal and salad straight from the garden, and of course fresh honey :) They are very experienced in hosting WWOOFers, and have extra boots and coats for extra messy tasks, like gardening or milking the cows. They also provide a bike, so I was able to have some independence to get around town aside from the very convenient bus and train system nearby. Thank you for a great experience! This was my first time WWOOFing, and you made it easy for me to want to WWOOF again in the future :)
