Small (7ha) farm with dairy sheep, poultry, orchards with high trunk fruit trees, vineyard, berry and herb garden, situated in the Zurich Weinland. We cooperate with the nearby Bird of Prey-Station, which is part of an international nature conservation foundation. Kids and adults have the opportunity to gain deep insights into the diverse work on our organic farm. The sheep are milked by hand and cheese is produced on the farm. Help is most welcome to cope with a multitude of manual jobs around paddocks, stables and gardens, with harvesting, processing our products or taking care for our farm shop (8415) Arrivel time of WWooofer only Monday to Saturday. Not on Sunday. We want to keep it free for spontanous actions :D However, if you are a local WWOOFer there is the possibility to have a regular Sunday "shift". New life under a historical roof In Chloster3, a historical building from the 16th century, we are developing the infrastructure, which we miss today to fulfill our educational tasks and ensure economical sustainability. The renovation, which takes into account the requirements for the new use and professional historic conservation. A concept of private-public usage ensures economic efficiency: a public infrastructure for workshop, meetings and events, which can also be rented to external parties, intermixed with appartments and guest rooms to create regular rental income. Chloster3 is at disposal for all those who care about nature and the conservation of natural livelihood such as water, soil, air and biodiversity and who see the urgent need of promoting consciousness about the importance of wholesome nutrition. A brilliant time in BungertHof!!! This farm could be a perfect choice to stay with no regrets. 🧑‍🌾This farm is organized by staffs who are generous and hospitable. They gave me a lot of food and tips about buying train tickets. They are also flexible with working arrangements. When I was asked to hard work, they checked your status. When I was suffering from fever, they offered me a sick leave and herbs. They even provided me with a extra holiday to explore regions nearby. In a nutshell, working with the staff could lead you a great experience. 🌍The place nearby is quite nice! Remote as the site you see on the map, public transportation in Switzerland works perfectly! You can reach Zurich in 80 minutes. Or you can visit the nearest spot, Rhinefall. All in all, it’s a rural town with tranquility and access to the cities. 🛏️About the accommodation, wow, I could say it’s the most special experience I’ve ever had. I lived in Chileweg 4, the 16th century house where it’s 2 minutes away from the main one. The house strikes me as a vintage mansion. But don’t worry about the cleanliness. I got a good feeling about it. 🌟Overall, five stars all the way! I highly recommend you to contribute your strength and time in BungertHof. And I think you will have the same thoughts after WWOOFing here——Wanna go again!

Thank you thank you thank you! Such a wonderful place with wonderful people who are so welcoming to their community. With so many different options of tasks along with delicious farm to table meals and comfortable accommodations, this was a dream Wwoof. I cant emphasis enough how much hosts truly can make a wwoof experience and you all are top tier with such a wonderful program. My intent with the wwoofs I explore is to learn as much as I can on how to "live off the land" and this place gives you all of that and more. From the opportunity to work in the chicken "coop/barn" to helping with the many different pastures and sheeps to the multiple gardnes (herb and veggies) and the many fruit trees, there was never a dull moment. I even loved that we had the option and opportunity to help in the industrial kitchen where Bungerthof makes their own tea blends (all from the herbs in the garden), breads, and other delicious desserts and syrups. Such a pleasure to have had the opportunity to spend a couple of months here and hope to make it back again one day. Love yall IMMENSELY!

I spent 3 weeks with Madeleine and the Bungerthorf team and it was definitely something I will hold very close to my heart. Firstly, the farm was big and beautiful, with all sorts of animals ranging from poultry to sheep, to cats - the work entailed us feeding the sheep, poultry alongside a lot of gardening and wood work. Secondly, the people were amazingly kind and fun - the conversations we had over lunch never failed to make me leave the table with my heart and stomach full! Above all, it's a place where social worker, civil workers, animals and nature come together to create an environment that is loving and productive I will definitely be back soon!

This was my first wwoof, and I had a great time. I did a variety of tasks while I was there, including baking bread, picking flowers, drying herbs, picking berries, harvesting grapes, and labeling products. It was all fun and a great experience. I worked about six hours a day. Everyone on the farm was very kind. They were concerned about me when I got sick and prepared healthy food for me. I'd love to participate again if I have the opportunity! Thank you so much to everyone at Bungerthof. I highly recommend this farm. It was the most intense three weeks of my life.

This was my first time on a farm! Everyone was so kind and lovely. I had no experience in farming, but they kindly taught me everything, so it wasn't a problem. The food was delicious, and the house I stayed in was lovely. I'm not fluent in English, but they were very kind and taught me. My experience here was amazing! There were so many things I experienced for the first time, and it was very interesting. I'd love to go back someday!
